The NYCBW Role Model Program has supported hundreds of young ladies for over 30 years. The organization has provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to further the education of these girls. The program identifies young ladies who demonstrate leadership potential as well as those who they feel will benefit from the program at large. Our very own, Yvette Richardson has a been role model for the program since 2016. The program took place on April 3rd.
The Say It Loud Remember Slavery: Triumphs and Struggles for Freedom and Equality Exhibit is an exhibit that features 10 male and 11 female African architects who has changed society through their work and creative talent. The theme of the exhibit celebrates the gains of people of African decent from slavery to present. Say It Loud: Remember Slavery will be on display from 5-28 March 2018 in the Visitors Lobby at United Nations Headquarters New York . Our very own Richard Franklin will be featured in this exhibit.
Richard and Yvette attended the ground breaking ceremony for Woodycrest veteran’s Housing on February 22, 2016. HELP USA and CMC Development have teamed up to provide affordable housing for homeless and low-income veterans. SRW provided due diligence services for the Lender and will be monitoring the construction as it progresses.
