Orah Weisberg just completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small business program, which is an entrepreneurship education program, and which has given her the practical tools to lead the SRW’s growing business. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed to tap into economic power by providing entrepreneurs across the country with the resources they need to grow and create jobs.
Official Grand Opening of Zion Court
October 17, 2013 was the official grand opening of Zion Court, which is an affordable housing building for low-income families. SRW is proud of being a part of this effort in the community. We provided complete architectural and engineering services for this project. The redevelopment and program modification of this building required 28 new residential units and 4 new commercial units that are now providing families with a home.
PACE Construction Management Certificate Program
We are very proud of our electrical engineer Eufracil Perez who graduated from Pace with a Construction Management Certificate on October 5th 2013. Construction Management Certificate program is a program designed to provide knowledge of the regulatory, insurance, management, safety, estimating, and environmental aspects of the construction management industry.
NOMA 2013
October 3th – 5th 2014 Yvette, Cappy, Richard and Erasmus attended the annual NOMA Conference in Indianapolis, IN. At the conference two of our principals, Yvette and Richard, were on the panel discussion discussing different topics related to architecture with the participants of the conference. This was a knowledgeable trip, were SRW acquired beneficial information and was able to share our knowledge with our colleagues.
